The system is an in-line calibration network operating in the L-band. Through the calibrator it is possible to take into account the contributions of the set up during the characterization of the performances of the down link signals.
The calibrator consists of a 32-output phase divider, Phase Shifter and High power directional coupler. The system can handle signals up to 50W CW.
Mechanical description:
The mechanical structure consists of an aluminum platform on which the 32-way RF divider, the Phase Shifters and the directional couplers are housed.
